Participating in the LORIER Ambassador networks
The Ambassador networks are made up of men and women whose mission is on the one hand to offer local support on the various LORIER themes (data management, best practices, publications, etc.) and on the other to participate in the production of practical leaflets, guides and other resources to be distributed via the portal.
As a LORIER ambassador, you will be involved in the activities of one or more networks depending on your areas of interest, your position or your missions.
Your missions
To promote ethical and responsible research based on shared values and practices
To raise awareness of good research practice by promoting access to the resources offered by LORIER.
To experiment in the field with tools and methods that will be made available for sharing via the LORIER portal.
To stimulate discussion of positive and negative experiences, and encourage cooperation on measures to promote ethical and responsible research.
To participate in the monitoring of documentation and events concerned with ethical and responsible research, and to contribute to the dissemination of news in this field, in particular via the LORIER portal.
Training via LORIER-approved courses
The LORIER programme offers 2 types of training to become an Ambassador: core course and additional modules. For example :
- good scientific practice in evaluation
- environmental issues
- good management practices
- cognitive bias
- conflict prevention
- scientific integrity and deontology
- quality management tools.
